GenCAD is preparing an AI workflow for turning photos, sketches, and renderings into editable CAD files. Core conversion is not public yet — join early access while we measure launch traffic.
Uploads are not open yet
The image-to-CAD engine is being prepared for private alpha. Join the early access list while we measure launch traffic.
Compatible with major CAD platforms
The public converter is not open yet. This page explains the planned image-to-CAD workflow so we can validate demand before shipping the core engine.
The planned engine will analyze visible geometry from photos, sketches, and renderings, then map that input toward editable CAD output.
The goal is to generate CAD command histories rather than static meshes, so dimensions and features can be edited after export.
STEP, IGES, and STL export are planned for the alpha workflow once the core conversion pipeline is ready.
We are validating demand across hand-drawn sketches, product photos, technical drawings, and rendered concepts.
Batch processing is planned after the single-image workflow is reliable enough for early testers.
Reference-model retrieval is being explored as a helper path for finding similar CAD structures before generation.
These are the workflows we are using to prioritize the private alpha and decide where the conversion engine should focus first.
The public converter is coming soon. This is the workflow we are preparing for early access testers.
Tell us what kind of images and CAD outputs you need so we can prioritize the first usable workflow.
The planned model will extract visible geometric features and map them toward an editable CAD representation.
The target output is a parametric CAD command sequence that can be inspected and edited after generation.
STEP, IGES, and STL export are planned once the alpha conversion quality is good enough for real testing.
We are measuring demand first, then opening the converter to a small tester group.
